Digital onboarding of new employees
When hiring new employees, it is crucial that your process is secure and uniform. With digital onboarding of employees based on payroll or HR systems, the new employee can begin their work from day 1.
With a uniform foundation for user creations, the process for onboarding a new employee can be automated, and the first accesses to IT systems can be assigned to the new employee based on the department in which the employee is employed.
It may sound simple, but in fact, it means that even interim employees can get their jobs started in minutes; instead of maybe days or weeks.
With digital onboarding, new employees are automatically created in the local Microsoft Active Directory and they are assigned an email account as well as a personal home drive for their own documents.
The head of department – or another person in charge – will then receive an email with a link that can activate the employee. When the employee is activated, the user is automatically assigned the additional accesses that suit the employee’s primary job tasks.
