On- and offboarding employees

In addition to good colleagues, an important prerequisite for getting new employees off to a good start is good system support.

Integration with payroll or HR data ensures that the data basis is correct in relation to when the new employees are created in the IT department.

The majority of the IT systems that need to be granted access to are done automatically based on, for example, the department they are hired in.

Similarly, reorganizations or employees leaving will be driven by data. Terminations of access and reductions in licenses are automatically maintained by payroll or HR data.

Payroll or HR data as a foundation

Integration to payroll or HR data often provides a solid foundation for an organizational structure that is very close to the truth.

The IT or "entitlement" organization can mirror the Payroll or HR organization, and thus the data foundation is in place to ensure correct employee placement in the IT organization.

The IT department can focus on systems and services, and all maintenance of employee master data, manager information, organizational structure and employee placement is done automatically based on existing payroll or HR data.

Should the foundation not be present in a payroll or HR solution, ID Connect supports direct maintenance of organizational data, and on- and offboarding can thus be done in the solution.

If the foundation is not optimized in the IT department, it will often be relevant to start there. This will be clarified in a PoC process.

Intelligent decentralization

Whether it's payroll or HR data that forms the foundation or the organization is built and maintained directly in ID Connect, it creates the opportunity for further optimization.

Where other solutions leave off, ID Connect picks up where they left off, with the ability to target self-service roles.

In practice, this means that managers or assistants will be able to help colleagues change roles and access, as well as create and close user accounts.

Self-service is easy and intuitive, and with access to a limited number of accesses, all changes are documented and included in compliance reporting.
